Curtis – The Erickson Cultural Center in Curtis will host an Open House on Saturday,June 7 and Sunday, June 8 from noon to 4 p.m.
The celebration will begin on Saturday with a parade around the perimeter of the building, led by giant puppets, Finn and Fern.
The event will feature special performances of music, dance and Scottish bagpipes, as well as exhibits and displays from groups that currently meet at the center. Refreshments will be served.
On Sunday, the Marquette Male Chorus will perform “How Can We Keep From Singing?” The performance will include songs, solos and bell ringing. A $5 donation per person is requested.
