Iron River – The 48th annual U.P. Championship Rodeo will be held Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18 at the Iron County Fair Grounds in Iron River.
There will be three rodeo performances, each with six events, putting the professional cowboys and professional barrel racing women to the test. The performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The gates open two hours prior to the start of each performance. Tickets are $15 for aduluts, $5 for kids 6 to 12 are $5 and free for ages 5 and under. Friday Rodeo Fever 2 for $20 coupons are available at area merchants.
