Marquette – An art and history day camp, exploring our natural surroundings, will be offered Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to noon each day at the Marquette Regional History Center on Spring Street in Marquette.
Youth ages 8 to 12 are invited to join the Liberty Children’s Art Project and the
History Center for a week long immersion into local history and art making. They will be creating individual art and a group project as well. Youth will be presented with themes of local natural history inspired by the museum collections, with a behind the scenes look into the museum exhibits and archives. Art making will be multi-media and collaborative.
Pre-registration required, register at the History Center or by calling 226-3571. The cost is $40 for the week, or $35 for Museum Members.
