Marquette – A free screening of the modern classic film “Jurassic Park” will be offered on Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The summer block buster of 1993, “Jurassic Park” tells the tale of when a theme park created by a billionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists suffers a major power breakdown allowing its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.
Novelist Michael Crichton wrote the film’s screenplay which is based on his best selling book. The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 127 minutes. Light refreshments will be served. There is no admission charge. For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
