Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a program on surgical technologists on Monday, June 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Sandra Kontio, a retired surgical technologist and educator, will explain what these professionals do, how they are trained and why they are essential in the highly specialized environment of the operating room.
