Houghton – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a bus tour to the Pine Mountain Music Festival’s matinee performance of the comic opera, The Barber of Seville, on Sunday, July 12.
The tour will depart from Marquette at 11:30 a.m., with pickups in Negaunee, Ishpeming and other locations along the way. It features deluxe transportation, preferred theater tickets and a Dutch-treat dinner at the Pilgrim River Steakhouse after the performance.
Rossini’s opera is the premier event of the festival’s 25th anniversary season and will be staged exclusively at the Rozsa Center in Houghton. Advance registration is required by July 1.
The cost is $71 per person for NCLL members, $76 for the general public and $43 for transportation only. Call 226-6167 for reservations or more information.
