Marquette – Steinhaus Market will hold a pig roast to benefit the Peter White Public Library Saturday June 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the former Union Grill on South Front Street in Marquette.
Ore Dock Brewery beer will be available for purchase and diners can enjoy live music by Fast Eddie and Friends from noon to 2 p.m., Malamute from 3 to 5 p.m., and Frank An Da Beanz from 6 to 8 p.m. while enjoying feasting on the pig roast with all the fixings. A bucket auction will also be held with wonderful prizes donated by community members.
Tickets can be purchased in advance the PWPL circulation desk for $10 each or call 228-9510 to reserve your tickets with a credit card. Tickets the day of the event are $12 each at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Peter White Public Library’s annual fund for books and programming.
