Nationwide – American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Days will be held Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, May 16 across the nation.
American Legion Auxiliary volunteers from the 33 Units in the Upper Peninsula will distribute the familiar red Poppies honoring America’s war dead. The Poppies are hand made by veterans at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette and all proceeds collected are contributed to programs for the rehabilitation and welfare programs for needy veterans and their families.
