Marquette – A French-Canadian dinner, to raise scholarship funds for Northern Michigan University hospitality management students, will be held on Tuesday, May 12 beginning with cocktails at 6:30 in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at NMU.
Hosted by the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center and the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Upper Michigan Culinarians Inc., the cuisine originating in Quebec and representing one of the Upper Peninsula’s largest ethnic groups will be featured in six courses.
French-Canadian folk music will be performed by Dave Bezotte and Daniel Truckey. The Beaumier Center will also present the 2015 U.P. Folklife Award during the dinner.
