Houghton – All students in grades 3 through 12 are invited to the U.P. Math Championships on Saturday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Michigan Tech in Houghton.
There will be elementary, middle school, and high school categories. The high school students will compete for Michigan Tech scholarships to the top 10 participants. Trophies and prizes will be awarded in all categories for individuals and teams.
Registration is free before May 14 and $5 the day of the competition. Students are
welcome with or without teachers, may come in teams of four, or meet new
teammates at the competition.
