Marquette – The Hospitality Management Program at Northern Michigan University will host the annual Main Event Banquet on Friday, April 10 at the Jacobetti Center Commons.
The community-wide themed gala banquet, “Motown” is an event to raise money for the NMU Hospitality Management Scholarships. The scholarships offer students the opportunity to study abroad, pay for books and supplement their tuition.
The HM 225 Banquets and Catering class is responsible for planning the menu, décor, service, entertainment, and marketing for the entire event. The cost for the banquet is $75 a person, includes a reception with drinks, and a five course dinner.
Call the NMU Foundation Office at 227-2627 to make reservations by April 3, as seats will fill up very quickly and space is limited.
