Marquette – The Your Health public lecture will present Dr. Dean Sienko from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine with a free lecture on childhood obesity on Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University.
Sienko will discuss prevention and treatment of childhood obesity and related diseases. The focus will be on promoting proper nutrition and physical activity as a way to combat the childhood obesity epidemic.
The Your Health lecture series is sponsored by Northern Michigan University, U.P. Health System-Marquette, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the MSU College of Human Medicine Upper Peninsula campus.
