Ishpeming-The Westwood Shakespeare Company High School Troupe will present Much Ado About Nothing March 11, 14, and 18 at 7 p.m. at Westwood Auditorium.
“This is a very funny play,” said Director B.G. Bradley, “and we’ve got some very funny young actors performing it.”
Bradley said the play has come together magically, and adds that he’s cracked up multiple times in rehearsals. “This is going to be great for our local audiences.”
The play concerns the merry mix ups in a seafaring town surrounding love, in particular between two sets of lovers, one set young, another old. “You see Shakespeare’s views of the crazy nature of romantic love ,” said Bradley. “And there are a great many laughs along the way. “
Tickets are available at the door, $10 for adults, $8 for students, with groups of 5 or more admitted for $5 per person. Children under 10 are admitted free.
