Ishpeming – The NICE Community Schools Child and Family Resource Center will sponsor its 6th Annual Formal/Prom Dress Resale on Saturday, January 31 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Westwood High School Media Center in Ishpeming.
Although this is a fund raiser for the Family Resource Center, the main purpose is to provide beautiful affordable dresses for all girls in the area. 80% of the proceeds will go to the seller. Any funds raised by this sale will be used to purchase snacks, supplies and books for the center’s weekly playgroup which is offered free of charge and is open to all families in the Upper Peninsula.
Sellers are welcome to drop dresses off at the Westwood Media Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. weekdays through Friday, January 30. Dresses may be dropped off Saturday, January 31, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. only. Dresses must be less than 10 years old and priced under $200.
