Marquette – Lake Superior Youth Theatre will be holding auditions for their
upcoming winter production “Mary Poppins” Monday, December 1 through Thursday, December 4 at Graveraet School, 611 N. Front Street in Marquette.
Vocal and acting auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 1 and 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. Dance auditions will be held on Wednesday, December 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. Callbacks will be on Thursday, December 4 at 4 p.m.
Youth ages preschool to 12th grade are eligible to audition. Youth actors, singers, gymnasts and dancers are all needed for a variety of parts. Those auditioning will be asked to read from scenes, sing a
song, and dance. A pianist will be provided. Those who do not wish to sing a song at auditions may choose not to do so.
There is no cost to audition but there is a registration fee to participate in the production. There are special family rates and scholarships
available.
