A presentation and discussion on Ernest Hemingway's “Nick Adams Stories” will be offered by Shirley Brozzo on Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Her presentation will cover the issues of race within this series. She is assistant director of the Northern Michigan University Multicultural Education and Resource Center, a member of the Keweenaw Bay Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and an adjunct professor at NMU's Center for Native American Studies.
This is the final presentation of Hooked on Hemingway, a collaborative effort of libraries, museums, community organizations and individuals to encourage people in four Upper Peninsula communities to participate in the Great Michigan Read.
