This year’s summit will feature successful career and technical education students who will present information about their learning and projects during breakout sessions. Young people will represent their home school districts from across the Upper Peninsula and will represent a number of different industry sectors. CTE is critical to ensuring that the UP is globally competitive; actively partners with employers to design and provide high-quality, dynamic programs; prepares students to succeed in further education and careers; and is a results-driven system that demonstrates a positive return on investment. The summit will also feature a panel with three successful business and education partnerships. They will discuss their achievements within the framework of Governor Snyder’s vision of Collaborate, Create, and Connect.
