MARQUETTE, MI- The second annual Baraga Avenue Harvest Fest will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the 100 block of West Baraga Avenue between Front Street and Third Street.
Events for all ages will take place throughout the festival, including a big equipment petting zoo, a complimentary carousel, Paint Baraga Avenue Chalk Contest, living statues, local vendors, a Carhartt fashion show, a pasty eating contest, music by Nick Adams and the Aral Sea Divers, Chasin’ Steel, and the Ben Daniels Band. A wide variety of food vendors from the local area will be on hand, and New Holland Brewery will be showcasing their newest brew,The Carhartt Woodsman, in honor of Carhartt’s 125th anniversary, as well as an Ore Dock/New Holland Brewery collaboration.
This year’s events are sponsored by New Holland Brewery, Pike Distributing, and Carhartt, along with Getz’s, Double Trouble Entertainment, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, and the Marquette Downtown Development Authority.
