Free screening for Peripheral Arterial Disease will be offered by Bell Hospital and Dr. Joel Johnson on Wednesday, May 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Teal Lake Medical Center.
Peripheral Arterial Disease is a condition which clogs the leg arteries and can lead to leg amputation, heart attack, stroke or death. It can be detected with simple screening and readily treated when detected in time.
