Marquette – An Organ Transplant Experience presentation will be offered on Wednesday, October 8 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall 1100 at Northern Michigan University.
The organ transplant journey, from prospective donors and recipients to the surgeons who perform the intricate surgeries and those involved in the recovery process, will be explored during a panel presentation. Speakers will include organ transplant recipients and representatives from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Marquette General Hospital.
The event is presented by the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning, MGH-Duke LifePoint and NMU’s School of Nursing. The public is invited free of charge. Registered nurses who attend will earn CEUs.
