Marquette – The Cancer Awareness Committee at Northern Michigan University will present the second annual Cancer Awareness Carnival on Saturday, October 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the area between Magers and Van Antwerp Halls at NMU.
This event is free for students and the public. The carnival is designed to raise awareness of the different forms of cancer and the treatment options available. Student organizations from NMU help coordinate booths, provide information, distribute popcorn and cotton candy, and set up raffles and games.
