Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will host the first ever “Paint Baraga Avenue Fest” on Saturday, October 11 beginning with registration at 8 a.m. at the museum.
The event is part of the Baraga Avenue Harvest Fest. Teams of chalk artists will paint a square on Baraga Avenue with the proceeds to go to support the Children’s Museum.
Businesses and individuals can sponsor a square. Anyone can be an artist. It is free of charge to be an artist. Artists will be assigned to sponsored squares. Prizes will be given in several categories.
