Marquette – The annual Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity (UNITED) Conference will present Gayle Tzemach Lemmon with “Unsung Heroes of the Developing World” on Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
Lemmon is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the author of “The Dressmaker of Khair Khana,” a New York Times best seller, about a young entrepreneur who supported her community under the Taliban. Her presentation is free and open to the public.
