Marquette – Upper Peninsula Rainbow Pride will host a Pride Fest on Saturday, September 6 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Marquette Commons.
Following a rally led by Bobby Glenn Brown, the gathering will walk to Tourist Park on Sugarloaf Avenue, where there will be crafts, food vendors, open mic, dancing, games, and information tables. A drag show will be held at 7 p.m.
All are welcome who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, or ally. Come for fun, safety, fun, respect, and more fun.Bring your chair and kick back for solitude by the beach or good conversation by the field or woods.
