Curtis – The sixth annual Curtis Labor Day 3-Bridge Walk will be held on Monday, September 1 between 8 a.m. and noon beginning on Main Street between the Tally Ho and the Whitefish Inn in Curtis.
There is a choice of walking distances, from three-quarters of a mile to 3 miles, depending on how many of the three bridges in Curtis the walkers wish to cross.
There is no charge to participate, but there will be voluntary “toll booths’ at the bridges and “bridge walk” T-shirts will be offered for sale. All proceeds will go toward providing the fireworks for the Curtis Fourth of July parade and at its Winter Carnival.
