Parents and caregivers can now find Keweenaw Family Resource Center (KFRC) program information and helpful resources online on the newly designed KFRC website! “The new site allows you to find what you are looking for more easily” explains KFRC Administrator Lori Bradley.
Parents and caregivers can now quickly find information about the popular KFRC indoor playground, The Treehouse, including the hours and upcoming schedules of events and playgroups. This indoor play and exploration space was built to help foster strong families in the Keweenaw, providing children up to 5 years old and their parents a fun and happy place to play together.
“We get a lot of calls about the Treehouse, but we want to make sure parents can find out about all the programs we have to offer” said Bradley. The KFRC began in 1991 by organizing playgroups and now provide a multitude of valuable programs for families, including home and newborn hospital visits and a Baby Closet that collects and distributes gently worn items for children. In addition to information about KFRC programs, interested parties can learn how to get involved and provide support for KFRC programs on the new website.
