MARQUETTE – The public is welcome to join the staff of the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, plus residents and visitors for a National Noon Out luncheon on Friday, August 8 in the Museum’s Courtyard (inside Museum in case of rain).
Everyone is invited to bring a lunch and share in this community-building event that will run from Noon until 1:30. Representatives from the Michigan State Police will be there with Kid I.D. kits and the Marquette City Police K9 dog and handler will also be on hand. Musician Kathy Wales will be singing children’s songs throughout the event as well.
The event is part of the long-running National Night Out program all this week.
