We, the probable members of da Upper Yoopers’ Barbershop? Chorus, are going to see The Remnants’ Harvest of Harmony Show on September 20 in Escanaba, and we’d like you to attend with us.
We are just getting organized in Marquette right now, and The Remnants are assisting us by giving us names of people who have attended their previous show(s). We intend to hold our first-ever meeting September 23 at the Peter White Public Library from 7-8:45 P.M., and hope this show on the 20th will be a great springboard to motivate many more aged 5-105 to join us in Marquette. Our purpose will be to fund local kids’ singing with our singing.
At this very early stage, we hope to hire a bus to take us from several points in Marquette and Alger county, go to the Show and Afterglow as a group, then return close to your home, late that night.
All we need this week is a head count of you, your family and friends, to see what size bus we’ll need; although, with the lists we have, we might need two buses! Once we know more, we’ll get an estimate from Checker Bus, then do the math to see what we might need to charge each passenger for the bus and tickets as a package, and get back to you as quickly as we can.
