The “Hope Starts Here Cycling Challenge” will be held on Saturday, May 10, beginning at Marquette General Hospital, as part of Brain Tumor Awareness Week.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the hospital's main lobby for the short ride and at 9:30 for the long ride. Registration fee is $30, which includes lunch.
The short ride is 5 miles, the long ride is 35 miles. Rides are open to all ages and abilities. Helmets are required.
Participants may collect pledges as individuals or as a team. A plaque will be presented to the individual or team raising the most money. All proceeds will benefit the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center.
