The 2nd Annual “Blues For Life” cancer benefit will be held on Saturday, May 10 beginning at 3 p.m. at the Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery in downtown Marquette.
The event will feature live blues music, food, a silent auction and motorcycle ride-in.
Activities will begin in the Jackson Cut Alley with live music by VOODOO BREW.
The motorcycle “Ride for the Cure” will begin at Bald Eagle Harley Davidson with a “Blessing of the Bikes.” Bikers will arrive at Jackson Cut Alley around 5 p.m.
Events will move indoors to the Lagniappe for the evening hours with music by the Flat Broke Blues Band and the Red, White and Blues Band. There will be a silent auction and door prizes. A cash bar will be available. Complimentary food will be served.
Tickets are $25 and available at Screened Image, the Lagniappe, and Bald Eagle Harley Davidson. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society for local cancer research and recovery programs.
