MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – A night of shopping and play is how a fund-raiser to benefit the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum is being billed. A number of local independent consultants will bring their goods and set up tables at the Children’s Museum the evening of Thursday, July 31st for a “Party with a Purpose.”
Kids can play while parents shop at tables set up by Mickey Wood of the Pampered Chef and Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Crystal Dale of Arbonne, Cheryl Turausky of Miche’ Bag, Darlene Kyto of Tastefully Simple and Carla Perala of Park Lane Jewelry. There will be prizes and discounts offered all evening long.
Admission will be free and a portion of the proceeds from the evening’s sales will go to the Children’s Museum.
Thursdays are also Dominos Pizza night at the Museum where families can place an order at the Museum store by 5:30 p.m. and have a pizza delivered for $6, including tip.
