Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will host a discussion on “Giving Motherhood a Voice: A Conversation about the
Creative Lives of Women” on Friday, August 15 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Author, editor, artist and blogger Suzi Banks Baum has organized an afternoon of “mothers reading to others” with live words and a conversation with local women artists and the audience. Joining Banks Baum will be authors Kathy Drue, Monica Devine and singer/composer Terri Bocklund who will share their work and host this lively conversation about the intersection of motherhood and creativity.
