Free Fly Casting Lessons For Vets July 29th

(Marquette, MI) – The Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited is partnering with Michigan Department of Natural Resources to offer free fly casting lessons to all veterans Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Lakenen Land. Vets’ families and buddies are welcome. Equipment will be provided and refreshments will be served.

Fish for pan fish in Lakenen Ponds, plan future fishing outings. Meet new friends, relax, and learn a lifetime skill.

“Fly fishing creates a tranquil heart”, says Phil Caputo, USMC.

Lakenen Land is 15 miles east of Marquette on M-28, 10 minutes from the US-41 and M-28 intersection, across from Shot Point Road.
