MARQUETTE, Mich. — Kylie Sherbinow of Marquette is the recipient of the Majorie McKee Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 school year.
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be a junior or senior in the special education program. Applicants should be admitted to the teacher education program, demonstrate promise in the field of education, possess leadership skills and be an active member of the community at large.
The Majorie McKee Scholarship was established by friends and family of Majorie McKee, former professor of speech education at Northern Michigan University.
