Peter White Public Library invites film fans to a BYO Dinner Theater event on Thursday July 24 at 5:30 pm to enjoy a screening of “American Hustle” in the library’s Community room.
Set in the alluring world of one of the most stunning real world scandals to rock our nation, the comedy-drama tells the story of a brilliant con man, played by Christian Bale, who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner, played by Amy Adams, is forced to work for a wild FBI agent named Richie DiMaso played by Bradley Cooper. DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that’s as dangerous as it is enchanting.
Ten time Academy Award nominee, “American Hustle” was released in 2013, is rated R and runs for 138 minutes.
BYO Dinner Theater welcomes the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy a feature film, in a dinner theater setting.
