West End Art Stroll Has Now Begun

ISHPEMING, MICHIGAN – The West End Art Stroll is now taking place. Visit local businesses in the West End now through May 30th to view many different styles of artwork created by local artists. The Western Marquette County Art Stroll paired local artists with local businesses to showcase artwork. The businesses have opened their doors and designated wall and floor space where people can come and view the art.

With over 50 talented artists participating, this is a unique and fun event.

Stacey Willey of Globe Printing and Renee Michaud of Nook and Cranny Art Studio have headed preparations this year. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Stacey at (906) 485-1033 or Renee at (906) 360-9771.

Monday through Friday, stop by the Chamber office to pick up a brochure of participating businesses and view the following artists displayed at the Chamber: – Eli Brooks – Pen and ink portraits Displaying: Four original pen and ink portraits – Paulette Carr – Textiles and acrylic Displaying: Upcycled dresses for girls and young adults – Tracy Hruska – Textiles Displaying: Upcycled “Neck Candy” fashion scarves – Tiffany Rantanen – Photography Displaying: Nature photography
