MDOT Traffic Update
I-75 preparation work for traffic shifts starts this weekend in Saginaw County
I-75 northbound and southbound traffic in Saginaw County will be detoured to I-675 for several hours this weekend to allow crews to set-up in preparation for twice-per-week traffic shifts that will begin next week.
Crews will re-route I-75 southbound traffic to I-675 southbound, beginning at 7 a.m., Saturday morning, May 17. I-75 northbound lanes already are detoured to I-675 northbound.
This set-up work is expected to last approximately eight hours and is expected to cause minimal delays for travelers this weekend. Once preparation work is completed, crews will reopen I-75 southbound.

Work to shift I-75 traffic is expected to begin Tuesday night, May 20, at 8 p.m. MDOT will announce traffic restrictions associated with the traffic shift.
