Ishpeming, Michigan – May 3, 2014 – The Ishpeming Elks Lodge 447 will host a Community Bike Rodeo for students Pre-K through fourth grade in Ishpeming, Aspen Ridge and Republic-Michigamme Schools on Saturday, May 3rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Participants will get a chance to check their bikes over for safety and fit, have their helmets checked for proper fit, and try out a bike obstacle course and learn about the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. Limited numbers of helmets will be given away as well. Parents must remain with the students, please. 597 Lakeshore Drive, Ishpeming.
