Free Community Program for Persons Living with Diabetes Starts May 14th

ISHPEMING,MICHIGAN – The Diabetes-PATH (Personal Action Towards Health) program is a six-week workshop designed to provide the skills and tools needed by adults living with diabetes to improve their health and manage their symptoms. Two trained leaders conduct the workshop (one or both also live with Diabetes themselves) COME AND JOIN US!!!!

TOPICS INCLUDE:
* Managing symptoms such as fatigue, pain,
hyper/hypoglycemia
*Healthy eating, meal planning, label reading
*Medications
*Physical Activity
*Managing stress
*Foot care
*Working with Healthcare providers
*And MUCH MORE!!!

Workshop to be held at
BELL MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Maple-Birch Room (near cafeteria)
• Wednesday evenings
• 6-8:30 p.m.
• May 14th through June 18th
• NO COST TO ATTEND
