MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – DocuMonday, in conjunction with the Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys series, presents the documentary film “Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World ” on Monday, May 5 at 7:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room. The film was released in 2011, runs for 90 minutes and there is no admission charge.
Dr. Steven Leuthold, NMU Art History Professor leads a discussion after the film . He has traveled through Turkey and southern Spain studying the art and architecture of the region firsthand.
