The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a Hunger Awareness Dinner on Wednesday, April 30 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in room 101-b of the Superior Dome in Marquette.
This is part of a global awareness effort to raise money for the Etta Project in Bolivia.
The dinner is free, but donations for the Etta Project will be accepted. Presenters of the dinner are Negaunee High School Global Awareness Projects students and their advisers.
Students will show a video and talk about environmental initiatives, how to help reduce hunger and poverty, and increase personal “greening” efforts.
Registration deadline is Friday, April 25. Call Marge Forslin at 869-4791.
