The Upper Peninsula Children's Coalition annual conference will be held on Thursday, April 24 at UpFront and Company in Marquette. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The conference runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the conference is $30, which includes lunch. Richard Bearup, director of Michigan's Trust Fund, will speak on the Adverse Childhood Experience study. Jane Zender Merrell, senior research associate and director of Kids Count in Michigan, will present the Michigan Kids Count data. Keynote speaker will be professor Mohey Mowafy of NMU.
