Marquette – Honoring the life and legacy of American folk singer and activist Pete Seeger, enjoy great music with multi-talented musician Corinne Rockow at the First Sunday Concert on Sunday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Pete Seeger’s imprint on the world was enormous. He became a regular on radio across the country in the 1940’s. Now may Pete Seeger rest in peace, and “well may the world go.” Come help celebrate his life’s work with Corinne Rockow on piano, guitar, and of course the banjo. Corinne will perform a wide variety of Seeger’s songs, for all ages to enjoy. Singing along in the Seeger tradition is very much encouraged!
There is no admission charge to the attend the concert thanks to
sponsorship by the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White
Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call
