Calendar – Groups – Shakespeare Readers to Meet – Apr. 2

Marquette – Shakespeare Readers will meet for a reading of “As You Like It” on Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The play features one of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches, “All the world’s a stage”, and is the origin of the phrase “too much of a good thing”. The play remains a favorite among audiences and has been adapted for radio, film, and musical theater.

Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
