Marquette Choral Society Presents Spring Concert April 26th & 27th

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – The Marquette Choral Society will present a concert of Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Fauré’s Requiem at Northern Michigan University’s Reynolds Recital Hall. Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27. Reserved tickets are $10 and available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets.

The Choral Society is directed by Floyd Slotterback and accompanied by N. Lynne Koski Lanczy. Soloists for Mozart’s Coronation Mass are Kathy Bushong, soprano; Jean Dettmann, alto; Matt Gilbertson, tenor; and Howard Harding, bass. Soloists for Fauré’s Requiem are Sophia Harding, soprano and Wayne Hanmer, baritone. A member of the society, Marianna Gummerus, won a competition to provide artwork for the concert program and publicity.
