A Baraga Avenue Visioning Session will be held Thursday, March 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Marquette Commons located at 112 S. Third Street Marquette, MI.
The Marquette Downtown Development Authority recently received a MI Place Plan initiative grant for redesign assistance to Baraga Avenue. The MI Place Plan team is a collaboration between the Michigan Municipal League (MML), the MSU Urban and Regional Planning Program, and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). The community is invited to attend and share their input and vision for the future development and design of Baraga Avenue. The project parameters are Baraga Avenue from Third Street to Lakeshore Boulevard.
