Garry Morning Star Raven, traditional teacher, will present AKI “Mother Earth” on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at NMU.
Garry is a traditional teacher dedicated to helping people experience and understand the earth through traditional Anishinaabeg teachings. His goal is to create an awareness of Mother Earth and how we can take care of her.
The presentation is part of the Indigenous Earth Day Summit and Earth Day music to jam by will follow the presentation. For more information, call 227-1397.
