Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center invites the public to attend their Annual Meeting and Social on Wednesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. at the Center, 145 W. Spring Street, Marquette.
The focus of the event is to celebrate the History Center’s 2013 accomplishments and inform the public of all the exciting programming for 2014. Find out who the new board members are, and who will be the recipients of the esteemed “Peter White” award and the “Helen Longyear Paul” award for contribution to local history.
The evening is also a farewell to Jim Koski and Scott Zerbel, both are set to leave the board due to term limits. After the business meeting and awards ceremony, there will be entertainment with a sneak peak reading from the original script of “Willpower” written by Tyler Tichelaar.
