Peter White Public Library invites film fans to a BYO Dinner Theater event on Tuesday, February 18 at 5:30 pm to enjoy a screening of “Blue Jasmine” in the library’s Community room.
Woody Allen’s newest dramatic comedy tells the story of Jasmine, an elegant New York socialite played by Cate Blanchett, whose marriage to Hal, a wealthy businessman played by Alec Baldwin, is falling apart. On the edge of poverty and homelessness, Jasmine moves into her sister’s modest apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together again.
Best Actress Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award nominee for Blanchett, “Blue Jasmine” was released in July 2013, is rated PG-13 and runs for 98 minutes.
BYO Dinner Theater welcomes the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
