Maps Celebrates Our School Board Leaders This January

Marquette, MI – January is School Board Recognition Month and Marquette Area Public Schools is joining 545 local and 56 intermediate school districts across the state to thank these community volunteers for their untiring dedication to public education.

It’s an exciting and challenging time in public education. MAPS School board members develop policies and make tough decisions that help shape the future of our education system. In recognition for all of their hard work, they will be honored at the next Board of Education meeting at 5:30 on January 27 in the Marquette Senior High School library.

Members include: President Rich Rossway, Vice-President Michael Kohler, Secretary/Treasurer Jean Hetrick and Trustees, Scott Brogan, Laura Songer, Brian Cherry and Matthew Williams.
